La Paz Oyala is the newest hospital in the La Paz network, part of Ciudad de la Paz (formerly Oyala) urban development project on Equatorial Guinea's mainland. Construction began in the 2010s as part of a planned capital initiative, with a soft opening in August 2023 and full operations starting in March 2024.
